Colourpoint

The points (ears, masks, paws and tails) are darker then the rest of the body. The body colour must be lighter then the points and farm a contrast. The chin, collar and chest are permitted, as well as the belly spots.


Mitted

The points (ears, masks, paws and tails) should be well colour through. And again the body colour must be lighter then the points and form the contrast. The mittens hand gloves are white and from the same length. The boots on the back paw must reach minimum till the heel and maximum till halfway the thigh. The mitten has white chin and white strips that run through from the collar, between the front paw through, crossing the belly until the tail implant.


Bi-colour

The points (ears, masks and tail) should be well colour through. In the mask must be an opposite white V visible, that doesn’t go farther then the outer eye corner. This must also be in V symmetric form.The covers is lighter then the point colour and form a contrast with it. The chest, belly and paws are white. A little dark stain/spot on the paws is allowed.

These colours can also be breed in tabby pattern. The latest colours cream/red/tortie/blue cream and the pattern tabby are still relatively recent in the Netherlands. Of course are these colours perfectly beautiful. What most of the people forget is through the contribution of the colours/patterns; the type is declining /going downhill.Before these colours reach the classical standard, there will always be something to improve. Perhaps is this not such a good option for the start breeder.
